568 Miles... Doesn't Seem That Far

At the Hamptom Inn in Woodstock, VA, feeling strangely awake and alive.  Day one is in the books, and the only drawback was some minor traffic problems in CT and PA (which we practically crossed completely through).  Other than that, just a lot of miles under our tires.  Lunch on the go, dinner at Panera (which is odd, since I do that at home most of the time), and one greasy truck stop bathroom (which featured a condom dispenser that sold "Rough Riders."  Errrrrghh), and here we are, in our 9th state of the day.  It sounds like a lot, but it will slow down after this.  Tomorrow we hit Tennessee, and possibly that's it.  It's a big state.  But hopefully a fun one.  Not a whole lot sights today, but some good male bonding and laughs.  What more does a vacation need?

At least the Conchords helped get us through.

  1. Tennessee will be a good time. Hit the Loveless Cafe in Nashville and make sure to get the Graceland tour! Check out the Lisa Marie with the seat belts on the bed. :-) Hope you guy's are having fun.

  2. Hey, Matt! Why didn't you stop by and see us? I mean you went RIGHT BY MY HOUSE! You were within 2 miles of me and you didn't even stop. I'm hurt.
Actually, unless you talked to your brother, you probably didn't realize that I live right outside Harrisburg.
Have a safe trip, perhaps next time your in the neighborhood...
(You missed an excelent German restaurant in Hagerstown, MD btw.)
